As a graduate from the University of Exeter, where I pursued a degree in Economics and Spanish, I was eager to embark on a career path that would allow me to utilize my skills and knowledge to their fullest potential. This is when I found Expand, a company that immediately caught my attention due to its promise of providing a broad and varied exposure from day one.
Joining Expand in 2019, was the best decision I could have made for my professional growth. I quickly advanced from Associate to Project Leader and most recently Principal, thanks to the company’s commitment to talent development. Early exposure to real-world scenarios, like attending a client meeting on my first day, laid the foundation for ongoing professional development. The work environment encouraged the development of technical skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management.
My role encompasses many things. The day is spent supporting and empowering others in various aspects of delivery and sales operations, from shaping strategic pathways for commercial activities to successfully driving independent sales ensuring that our team achieves positive results. I also have the privilege of presenting to C-suite executives at top Asset and Wealth Management firms on a regular basis which has allowed me to sharpen my presentation and negotiation skills, as well as build my confidence in front of high-profile individuals.
